The old batteries I had in my Club Car were shorter than the new batteries. So I had to order the longer tie down rods.

They arrived quickly and work perfectly.

are these rods j-hook style or S bend like the photo?

Like the picture shows I install them without the batteries in the cart but I attach a string to them so I can pull them up and actually hold them taunt before I install the batteries that way they don't drop down in and the hook style would not work on a Club Car like these would these are much better just have to use some common sense when installing them so you don't lose control of them

are the rods made of stainless steal ?

If it doesn't say stainless then they are not
