Product Details

Buggies Unlimited has locations all over the United States. Our headquarters are down in sunny Florida, but we have warehouses in PA and AZ. Multiple hubs are beneficial for shipping quickly; It also means we deal with various terrain. Therefore, we understand the issues that will rear their heads in different environments. Hilly and soft terrain are the hardest on your Club Car. If your noticing a loss of performance in either of those situations, we've got some troubleshooting to do. More than likely, we will wind up at the Club Car Ignition Coil & Ignitor.

Chances are your Club Car Ignition Coil & Ignitor combo are giving you problems. A few other things could cause this type of issue, but this is by far one of the easiest to check, so why not start here. All this comes down to is the fire's condition created at the spark plug; if it's blue or white, this ain't right. If it's orange, yellow, or red, your coils dead. A helpful little rhyme to make sure you get the right part the first time. Buggies Unlimited quality aftermarket parts at unbeatable prices, take advantage today.

problem solver
Spoke with the BU rep and he figured out a on going problem that locals could not solve for weeks after throwing several parts at it. Purchased to coil that the BU Rep suggested and after a very quick delivery by mail it solved the problem. I highly rate BU as a 1st class service in all ways!!!

1997 club car carryall ignition coil 290 Kawasaki engine ?

this ignition coil will work great in this carryall

1998 club car will loose fire at sparkplug wire intermittently. Will run up to five or 10 min. No definite pattern. When it starts it could run another 10 min. Is the coil a common problem?

Yes. I have put three coils in my 2002. Buggies had a vendor problem and the last one I bought they checked it out before they sent it to make sure it was good. That one has worked for three months so far. I think the problem is with the ignitor which is incorporated into the coil. Hope this helps

is the igniter and coil electrically driven or is it mechanical ? on a 2003 villager 6

there are magnets on the (flywheel) that make contact with the coil. It is possible you have a bad coil and if you order one make sure they check it at the warehouse. I have had bad coils that were brand new. You also need brass feeler guages to get a little space between coil and magnets

Is this an OEM part or is it an aftermarket part?

This would be an aftermarket part.

Where is the coil located on the motor?

behind the fan shroud on the left side of the motor, sitting in the seat looking forward, quite a pain to get to, some clubcars need the engine mounts removed so you can rotate the motor to get to the rear bolt on the shroud.

I have a 2014 clubcar with an fe350d is this the correct coil?

This coil inter-changed on my clubcar fine.

Does this come with the end for the spark plug?
Which ignition coil is 290?
