The 72V 105AH lithium battery pack is the highest voltage battery in the lineup. This lithium conversion kit comes with all the components in the professional installation kit. In some colder climates a non-heated battery may not charge because the internal temperature never gets above the 30F needed for charging to kick on. The battery has safety measures built in to not charge when the temperatures are not right as to not damage the cells. The heated option allows for a wider range of use in colder climates.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Will heating affect the performance of my battery? The battery, through the BMS, will only heat itself when needed and only do so when plugged in to charge. It will not heat itself during discharging and therefore won’t affect the performance of the battery.
• I live in a 4 season environment, do I need a heated battery? This really depends on your usage and storage of your vehicle. A lithium battery will normally charge when the internal battery temperature is 30F or more. That can happen when the ambient temperature outside is less than that depending on how the cart is stored. If you plan on using your battery significantly in cold climates we recommend going with a heated battery.
