The 48V 105AH battery is the most popular lithium battery size on the market as it provides consumers with increased range and more power than traditional lead acid setups. This battery comes in two different physical shapes, this square shape (12.8” x 12.1” x 10.42”) and a rectangular shape (20” x 8.43” x 10.65”)to best adapt to battery wells of different golf cart manufacturers. The square battery is also slightly lighter than the rectangular one due to its dimensions but packs the exact same performance metrics. Bolt refers to this shape as the Mini although we don’t think there is anything Mini about its performance.
Some of the impressive metrics include a energy storage of 5,376WH, continuous discharge current of 250 amps with a peak 520 amp discharge current (30 seconds) and discharge temperatures of -4 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit. While the recommended charge current is 5-52A it can take a maximum input charge of 350A. The BMS and charger manage charge rates to safely and efficiently charge the battery in less then 6 hours to a full charge.
