Cart Subtotal:
The throttle sensor on your golf cart is a significant feature. Its operation allows you to communicate the position of the accelerator pedal to your controller. The controller then interprets that signal and allows a metered amount of voltage to reach the motor. This is what allows for smooth acceleration. On your caddie, it is called a Club Car Precedent 2nd Generation MCOR Four. Club Car is currently on their 5th generation of this throttle, but the one you need is based on the year of your golf cart. This model was used on the precedent models only that were 2012 and newer. The MCOR One worked for 2004-2008 models. Then you had the generation to that fit 2008 through 2011. You could also get a conversion to make this one fit the older models.
This golf cart MCOR is a replica of the one that is on the cart. It will bolt right onto the accelerator pedal sub-assembly. You do not need an additional pigtail; this will plug right into the harness. Get with Buggies Unlimited on this today.
I have a 2016 club car that will only go halve throttle. It doesn't lose power it just won't go full power even with pedal to the floor. I have replaced all batteries. What else might it be.
Check all your connections under the seat too the motor first, then that would be your cheapest first step.
I don’t know about a 2016 but it works I might do thousand 12. I can’t say any more than that lol I know it works on my 2012
This would not work on the ion cart.
I also had this same problem……The part I got from Buggies Unlimited took care of it nicely!!’
Sounds like it, it’s a potentiometer works like a reostat. Try moving the pedal a little and see if it still does it. The only other thing would be a solenoid trying to drop out, but you can jump that out and rule that out.
Item #8525 should work The best thing to do is check the one you have in there first. If it does not match, then you will need to get item #8504 conversion kit.
Throttle response.
