Product Details

The throttle sensor on your golf cart is a significant feature. Its operation allows you to communicate the position of the accelerator pedal to your controller. The controller then interprets that signal and allows a metered amount of voltage to reach the motor. This is what allows for smooth acceleration. On your caddie, it is called a Club Car Precedent 2nd Generation MCOR Four. Club Car is currently on their 5th generation of this throttle, but the one you need is based on the year of your golf cart. This model was used on the precedent models only that were 2012 and newer. The MCOR One worked for 2004-2008 models. Then you had the generation to that fit 2008 through 2011. You could also get a conversion to make this one fit the older models.

This golf cart MCOR is a replica of the one that is on the cart. It will bolt right onto the accelerator pedal sub-assembly. You do not need an additional pigtail; this will plug right into the harness. Get with Buggies Unlimited on this today.

Is this the Mexican-made product? I understand that the China-made product doesn't last long.

I have a 2016 club car that will only go halve throttle. It doesn't lose power it just won't go full power even with pedal to the floor. I have replaced all batteries. What else might it be.

2012 cart would hear click when depressing pedal & sometimes go , some times have to press repeatedly & may go continued to get worse now no click or go . Is this most likely mcor thanks ? Joe
I have a 2014 Precedent Electric and I have to move my foot back and forward on the pedal to find a spot that it runs smoothly. I think the Mcor needs to be changed ? would it be the 8525 one ?
thanks Mike

Check all your connections under the seat too the motor first, then that would be your cheapest first step.

will this work on a 2016 club car precedent?

I don’t know about a 2016 but it works I might do thousand 12. I can’t say any more than that lol I know it works on my 2012

Does this work with the 2019 factory lithium ion cart?

This would not work on the ion cart.

When I step on the accelerate it sometimes does nothing but after doing this several times it will go forward or reverse.  What could the problem be?

I also had this same problem……The part I got from Buggies Unlimited took care of it nicely!!’

My 2015 club cart is surging when I accelerate and then cuts out Would this problem be my my mcor ?

Sounds like it, it’s a potentiometer works like a reostat. Try moving the pedal a little and see if it still does it. The only other thing would be a solenoid trying to drop out, but you can jump that out and rule that out.

I own a 2012 club car precedent, what MCOR should I purchase for replacement?

Item #8525 should work The best thing to do is check the one you have in there first. If it does not match, then you will need to get item #8504 conversion kit.

What does the MCOR control ?

Throttle response.

motor just hums on my PRECEDENT ELECTRIC WHATS WRONG ?
