Cart Subtotal:
The EZGO RXV is an anomaly when it comes to suspension. It's like EZGO decided to combine the support setups from every type of significant golf cart on the market for this unit. Usually, you have either coil-over shocks, typical on Yamaha or leaf spring suspension, commonly used on Club Car and other EZGO models. With the RXV, the engineers over at EZGO decided they needed the whole gamut. You have coil-over shocks up front with leaf spring suspension in the rear that has a dampening E-Z-GO RXV Rear Shock to smooth things out.
The golf cart rear shock on your RXV does not provide any outward support. It is just there to offer a fair amount of inward and outward resistance to make sure the spring does not bounce you around like a 90's pop song. If you were to hold it in your hands, you could collapse it with ease, and it would stay closed until you pulled it apart. Give Buggies Unlimited a call and order your EZGO part today.
I’m assuming it’s for one shock as not enough information supplied. I replaced both sides as I was in the automobile building business and it was always a recommendation to change both sides.
The rear shocks have eyelet ends with internal bushings.
Rear leaf springs do not include bushings. Item #12-007 is the bushing kit for 1 spring
Easy to install working fine
I replaced my rear shocks on a 2009 RXV Electric in the spring of 2018. If I recall correctly, the new shocks came with the bushing, each shock has 2 bushing, top and bottom. I also replaced the rear leaf spring bushings which requires 4 bushings on each side.
does it have a rear set? if so it may have the heavy duty shocks and springs. i
I feel that someone has upgraded they. factory standard set up is for 2 people and clubs for a soft ride
