Product Details

The Jake's Club Car Precedent Long Travel Kit is not only the biggest and best lift kit you can buy, but it's also the safest. They have independent suspension for a smoother ride while giving you the freedom to adjust the ride from stiff to soft. Meaning that you can modify the way the suspension reacts to the earth beneath it no matter the terrain. This golf cart lift kit will eat the trail like breakfast cereal if it's set up correctly. You can also make it glide like a caddy around the corners of the neighborhood.

This fits Club Car Precedent 2004-up electric and gas-powered golf carts with black plastic hub covers. It comes with an independent front suspension with adjustable shock mounts. This is to soften or stiffen the ride, and a six-inch rear lift is included for more excellent stability at higher speeds. There is no cutting or welding needed as this is a bolt-on kit, and it comes with detailed instructions and all the necessary hardware to get it installed. Call Buggies Unlimited and get one coming today.

Poorly designed and overpriced
I waited for a long time to build a Precedent with this kit. Never could find anyone who’d done a Precedent to look at it. I am NOT a fan of anything made by jakes...mostly because it’s all high priced and lower in quality than the average Chinese A arm kits. The front end is pretty good, instructions are sub par at best. The instructions are printed so out of whack it’s absurd. Constantly flipping upside down and over since they must have had a mental midget do their printing. The rear blocks are the biggest letdown. The jakes rear block is a solid inch smaller than the average 6 inch kit block. It makes the cart sit higher in the front which looks really bad. I removed the jakes crap and put a standard rear 6 inch block set on which greatly improved the look. They also send a ubolt that is to large for the factory holes that requires you to drill out 4 holes to 1/2 inch.....problem is the steel they want you to drill is 1/4 plate! 3 bits later I substituted their bolts for a standard 6 inch kit set of ubolts that work perfectly with no drilling required. Overall, it’s not worth the price. The front end is nice, but the back being so poorly designed and executed none of it is worth using. (Anyone wanna buy a jakes rear lift block and ubolt set? Lol)
This is coming from a custom golf cart shop owner and 7 year technician. I have yet to use it on the street as I’m waiting on parts from Nivel to finish the build. But I’d say it was my first, and last, jakes long travel kit.
