There are four holes in the bag area, just four bolts and your done.
This is strong enough, but this is intended for Club Car Precedent models without a rear seat. If you have a rear seat on your Precedent, then you would need the hitch designed for rear seats. We also carry a hitch mount cooler and rod rack that you could use to not take up any foot space for those rear seat pasengers.

You can still mount it, but the floorboard that extends beyond the back of the main cart structure will stick out past the hitch. if you wanted to tow something, you'd need to flip the floor up, or have a long extension out of the hitch. I havn't tried either solution though because I haven't towed anything since putting the flip seat on.
