Get your bounce back with a new set of Club Car Dual-Action HD Leaf Springs from Buggies Unlimited. When you have weak suspension, you can feel every bump in the road. We are not sure about you, but we would have busted out the little red wagon if we wanted something with that amount of ride quality. You know, the one with the front wheel broken and the axle dragging? As long as someone has not stolen it over the years, it probably rides better than a caddie with an old leaf spring. So make this simple and easy repair soon.
The biggest hold-up to installing heavy-duty golf cart leaf springs is the exact reason you want them in the first place. People are afraid of the ride quality they are going to end up with. The last thing you want to do is go from overly soft to unbelievably stiff. Going from one lousy condition to another does not a problem fix. That is why these dual-action Club Car springs are the cat's pajamas. They have the same soft suspension as an OEM caddie until you put an excessive load on them. Don't make things overly stiff for no reason.
The installation of this golf cart dual-action leaf spring, is an easy product to install. It will go on the exact same way as the OEM unit. You will need to jack up the cart, so have a few stands and a friend on hand for safety. A basic set of tools is all you need to bring you home.
Buggies Unlimited carried the Club Car hard parts like leaf springs and the accessories like light kits. Get everything you want right in one place. The best part? You do not have to load it in your car! We will ship it right to your door.
If you have recently added a Rear seat or cargo box to your cart and noticed that it can no longer handle the extra load? Here is the answer, These Dual Action Heavy Duty Leaf Springs are just what you need to compensate for all that extra weight from your passengers or that load of mulch in your cargo box.
I was told you don’t need the shocks with heavy duty leaf springs. I removed mine, and have know issues. Hope that helps.
Two per spring as they recommend. Do lubricate them for easier installation. No shocks needed after installation
3 leaf - top bar with the eye bolt holes and then 2 pieces under that bar.
If you have a lifted cart with rear seat then I recommend replacing the rear with HD. They are most likely to fail and will result in inability to easily move cart. Tire will contact body if spring breaks.
My cart has a lift on it, but the HD springs do add to the height. As long as you go to 12's and not 14's like the other reviewer, I think you would be fine. The folks at Buggies have more experience and can confirm
They are sold individually.
Thats a little hard to say. The old springs were sacked out so bad that it was dragging butt.
But after installation it seemed to sit leval again.
So I would say it did not and if it did it was not noticable.
No and they go on one way
