Please give me a call! I can help you with this a lot more accurately over the phone, but... I am going to assume its a club car since you are looking at a club car motor. The serial # should be near the cup holders or on a sticker that is on the lower dash piece that slopes toward the floor, usually on the passenger side. Please call us! We can help! 888 444 9994 ext 3 ask for Gene

I recently bought a used 2007 Club Car Precedent 48 Volt. Although it's in great shape, garage kept, clean.... I don't know a lot about Golf Carts. It has lights for night driving. However, it seems to zap the power fairly quickly. And the cart seems to struggle to go up hills/inclines. And once I put 4 adults on it, well it feels like it's struggling the entire time..... I'm wondering if I need a new motor, and if so which one? I use this cart solely for tooling around the neighborhood, don't golf or run it on rough terrain.

Hi Robert, you might want to consider a new motor/controller package. Give our sales team a call and we can setup an order for you.

Is this an upgrade or just a stock replacement for a JE17 Club Car Model?

This would be our upgraded motor.
