Product Details

The 500 amp Curtis controller packs quite a bit of performance for your EZGO in a tiny package. Who knew something this little could give you a torque increase of over 50-percent? Buggies Unlimited did, heck, their techs map these things personally to make sure your EZGO gets the most response when you press the pedal. What if you are looking for something a little more personal? Call in to place the order and ask to have it programmed for your needs, free of charge. Just another reason we are the best vendor of quality aftermarket golf cart products.

This golf cart 500 amp beast cannot stand alone; you want to consider replacing the motor, but an absolute requirement when increasing the drive system's amperage is a new EZGO solenoid, forward and reverse, and cables at the very least. Without these, you are not only endangering all of the stock components of the drive system, but that brand new controller is also going to run hot and fail. Don't let any of that happen; call us first.

Good Replacement
Replaced an older Buggies Unlimited controller with this new Curtis controller. I was trouble shooting an running issue. The old controller was around fifteen years old. So, I decided to go ahead and replace it while I was at it along with the solenoid. All back and running like new now. Great support from the tech department during this issue also.

subject cart wiring.

I need some help wiring my 1205m 500 amp controller. I need to know what color wire from my old block plug goes to which j number spade connector. I have a series txt 2004 non pds. my wire colors are red white black and orange. any help would be great??
will this controller add speed to my cart?

In one of my carts, 2004 EZ-GO, it did increase the top speed. In my 1998 EZ-GO, not really. It added quite a bit of torque and acceleration though. Two different motors though so different results. Hope this helps.

I currently have an alltrax NPX4844EZ,ITS controller and it needs to be replaced. Would this controller replace my old one? Mine is a 5 pin connector so I would guess that I need to buy another connector or something that lets me adapt what I have to the new one? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The all track that you were using if it USES ITS throttle, you should be able TO use this curtis controller, because
i see it's used or set for a ITS THROTTLE, JUST NEED TO GET THE WIRE diagram for Connections ,THEN should be OK. The alltrack can be set for three different throttle modules, where THis Curtis is set for the ITS THROTTLE pacifically for the application. OR GET THE SAME CONTROLLER

Will 100 amp/hour lithium batteries work with 1205 ms controller rated 325 amps ?

Yes, this should work for you 100amp/hour lithium battery.

I swapped out the old Curtis for this one, wire for wire.  Now the cart is wide open when barley touching the pedal and slow when completely pressing pedal to the floor. In essence its reversed. 96 txt ezgo. Was the controller programmed wrong? Or my wiring was wrong? J1-red J2-Blk J3-white

Mine had a 400 amp set up and went to the 500. The thing I did notice is the more I use it the more consistent it gets. Sometimes mine will act as if it's starting off in second gear. Does yours make a beeping sound when you hit the peddle

I have a 2007 36 volt EZGO with a Curtis 500 amp Controller. I need a new solenoid. What would you recommend  ?

I bought an SW200 because it is designed for the higher amperage of the Curtis controller.

I currently have a 2001 EZGO TXT Standard 36V with the Curtis 437 (350 Amp) Controller; how would I connect the Curtis 995 (500 Amp) as my current controller has 3 Terminals with a 4/5 pin connector and the 995 appears to have 4 terminals with spade and plug connectors?
