Cart Subtotal:
Thank the golf cart gods for Powerwise chargers. These were the innovators that got the game started with automatic chargers. Up until this point, these units were manual. You had to set a dial to a specific charge time and hope you were not under or overcharging. The charge time should be based on usage. Asking an end-user to get out there with a voltmeter and determine how much charge time they need is a little much. Parts like the E-Z-GO Powerwise Control Board took that task out of your hands. Not the charger looks for a specific voltage level before it will shut off. This ensures that you get the proper charge and not something more or less than you need.
This golf cart control board is something that is located in the charger. It is not an item that can be added to your caddie or an older model charger. This will only work for Powerwise chargers. Call Buggies Unlimited today for what you need.
Did you ever get this answered? I have the same question. Thanks
Throw both boards away! Ask for combo board with built in relay! Have a repair biz change many! Buggies a good source but shop for best price. The board will work on any older style 36 volt only Battery charger!
Hi Todd, this should fit with your Powerwise charger.
If the cart batteries are too dead then the charger will not activate. You might but want to try and isolate the batteries and individually charge them. Then try the cart charger again. That is what I learned after storing my cart for a year.
It works great no modification needed.
I use this on any older style golf cart battery charger that is 36 volt! I buy from buggies but check Amazon. I reapair mostly older transformer type 36 volt battery chargers! Remember mount it whare possible! Check U Yube for install clips I get lots of ideas from clips!
I replaced mine and it work fine after I changed it. Went on u tube to troubleshoot to make sure the problem was the board had to use a tester I’m not a electrician but tester found the problem
It will fit that charger (28115g04)

Yes it will work but check the place that each wire is on. The board should be a plug an play .
