Product Details

The EZGO Inductive Throttle Sensor is a hall effect sensor used in the floorboard to indicate the position of the throttle to the controller. The controller then uses this information and determines how much energy to release to the motor. A small metal linkage rod activates a micro switch and plunges into this sensor when you depress the pedal. This causes a voltage fluctuation on the output post. The further you push the pedal, the more that voltage changes. The controller supplies about fourteen volts to power this unit but only gets in the neighborhood of 2.5 volts back from the ITS at full throttle. So make sure that this is your issue and not a controller or broken wire before ordering.

This golf cart throttle sensor is used on the 1994 and newer EZGO TXT models and the Medalist and Workhorse models that were 36 volts. However, the newer TXT and RXV models that are 48 volts are not compatible with this part. Call Buggies Unlimited for a great deal today.

Golf cart parts
If anyone is having trouble with their golf cart not wanting to excelerate gradually, I highly recommend purchasing the inductive part first. I ordered mine from this fine company and received it within a couple days and my cart works as good as new.

why does it die when im going along and have to let off the pedeal and step back on it to make it go?

Jeffery this is something we need to troubleshoot over the phone. if you give our tech support line we can go over these things and find the carts issue

What is the resistance of the 25854G01 sensor?

3.6 the old 3,6 new same

Would this part fix the problem of a very touchy accelerator that makes cart jump when you barely touch the accelerator?

Not always. I have a 36 volt that no matter after replacing the accelerator coil it still jerks into go.

what is the resistance of an EZ Go Medalist TXT inductive sensor coil ?? John R
Is there a way to bench check an ITS to see if it's good or bad?

You can check the continuity, by placing your leads on the connections.

My cart has no power to climb a small incline. Installed new batteries still the same! will this part correct that???

Joe it sounds like we need to do some trouble shooting. Typically when this goes bad you will have issues across the board.

1998 ezgo 36v only stutters when accelerator is applied, new batteries test 37.4v, new solenoid, speed controller issue?

Mitch,
I do not think I can help you. My problems were different. My electric motor was dying, so my cart just creeped along. I replaced my throttle sensor preemptively because the plastic base was cracked but seemed to be functioning. Sorry.

What electric throttle sensor do I need for my Marathon cart ?

This would not work with the marathon.

Is this a Ezgo part or aftermarket part?

The one I got that looks like the one in the photo was an EZGO part. There is also a switch that operates this part, I recommend you get it as well, this way you can open up the floorboard once and your done. Thanks

I have a 2012 EZGO txte-48 and looking for the ITS for it. Apparently the one you show is for the 36 volt units. Input is steady around 14.5 volts and output jumps around regardless of pushing pedal or not. What one do I need?

I personal don’t know if the 36 volt will work on a 48 volt system . My cart is a 36 volt and I replaced this part as well as the switch and it solved my problem. You may ask to speak to the parts department for help with your concern. Thanks.
