Common issues that would indicate a replacement of the steering box assembly is needed would be loose steering, grinding as you turn, and reduced turning radius. I put one on a Workhorse with no issues. Bolted right up.
The holes are not threaded .They are all threw bolted to the frame . And it is a direct fit no modification required .
