would this relay being bad make the engine die when you put it in gear and hit the accelerator?

Make sure the maintenance/operation switch is in the “operate position”, if the switch is in the maintenance position you will get the result your describing. Easy fix if that is what you find,

I have a club car gas limo. Engine turns over but will not engage and move. Does the relay have anything to do with it?

Hi Tom, Please give our tech support team a call at 1-888-444-9994. They can get all the correct items needed to complete your installation.

Club car gas runs perfect and then blows a fuse, replace fuse runs fine, might run 2 hours or 10 minutes. Checked for shorted wires none found. Any ideas, heat related?

Pat this has to be an intermittent short some where we need to check the fuse wire for continuity as soon as it blows .

where is the maintence and operation switch on 1996 club car, problem is it dosnt kick in fast enough after starting to take off, if it starts,  in morning when cold might run 3 minutes than quit, i figured it might be the coil or this switch, carb has been cleaned 7 times, new plug?
