A lot of us thought electronic music would never take off. Those of us who don't know what this refers to are things like dubstep and techno. This was a fad that started back in the '70s and has permeated all facets of music. There is not a top 40's performer that does not use autotune. That whole industry relies on electronic regulation to pull off a good show. This is just like your golf cart's ignition system, parts like the Club Car Gas RPM Limiter regulate power flow if your speed gets too quick. This unit will shut the engine off before your rate gets to the point of damaging another item. So if you have this unit bypassed and wonder if you need it, the answer is yes.
This golf cart limiter is not a hard part to install. It is held down by a couple of screws and has only a few wires to hook up. Including the time it takes to pull the old one-off, you should have this swapped in less than an hour. Call an expert at Buggies Unlimited and get this ordered today.
Can not show you a picture but it is right below the exhaust manifold under a metal protection cover.
On the bottom of engine under carb. 2 10mm bolts heads hold it on.
The dimensions listed as, "the best answer" should be pretty close. It fits into a designed space/spot along with a rubber seal on the backside.
You can cut wire if you want but it is a plug and go set up so I would not, besides it will be a bear to get wire cutters and crimpers in that tight spot.
