Cart Subtotal:
Every golf cart has a relay. We don't care if it's gas or electric; each of the units has one. It's like hair color; everyone has it, well, except your dad. He's got a little up there still! That cul-de-sac cut is maintained as neatly as his yard. But just like his queue ball is a little different than everyone else's, so is the Yamaha Solenoid for Gas G1 caddies. Most contractors have four terminals; this one has six. Because this is a two-cycle coach, the voltage must get delivered to more places. You cannot use a basic car solenoid in place. It will not transmit the voltage properly, and it only pulses duty. A golf cart switch is continuous.
This golf cart solenoid is identical to the one that was on your buggy. This makes things very easy to install. It is not a Yamaha product as they no longer make it, but it is identical to the OEM relay. Give Buggies Unlimited a call today.

Yeah I put two on a 1980 g1, pay close attention to the current hookup, if I recall i had to flip this over to hook up correctly, but they are on a doing great
Rotate the solenoid 180 degrees from how the original part was mounted and connect everything as it was mounted to the original
I still have the one I purchased did not install. Could not figure or find out how to install. If you find out please let me know. Thanks
if you need just the solenoid and not the kit, 1138 is in stock ready to ship.
This solenoid is a replacement for each of the original solenoids. If you need to replace both originals, you will need to buy 2 of the replacement parts. Be sure to carefully install and follow the instructions since the replacement part gets reversed from the original. Best wishes.
You would need to replace both this one is a slightly different design.
This is for a 2stroke engine. Two are needed for the two stroke as one makes it run forward and one to make the engine run backwards for reverse.
