Have you ever tried to use an aftermarket seat cover? We've all thought about going down to Jo-Anne's, getting a piece of vinyl, and doing it ourselves. How hard could it be, right? Take it from the Buggies Unlimited experts; this is not a road you want to go down. The Club Car DS Seat Bottom Cushion gives you that OEM look without the hassle of trying to pull fabric and staple in just the right spot so you can avoid pulls and wrinkles. The few extra dollars are well worth the hassle you will save in trying to make it perfect.
This white seat bottom assembly includes everything you need for a fast swap out. The vinyl, foam, and wood come pre-assembled, all you need to do is transfer the factory hinges and hip restrains to the new seat. These first-generation Club Cars need a little help on the visual side from time to time, and Buggies Unlimited is here to help.
Hi Dick, yes you have a 1996 Club Car DS cart. This is the correct seat.
Yes this is a replacement seat on a DS. I also used it as a rear seat with the rear seat accessory I have. Most of the rear seat kits use a standard front seat cushion. The cushion is soft and comfortable.
We bought seat and back. The cushion on both was considerably thicker than our old cushion. Didn’t make any difference on seat cushion but the back cushion was so thick that you were pushed off the seat. We had to have a local upholsterer take some of foam out of the seat back. Otherwise seat and back worked fine.
Too many custom rear seats from that era to even guess. Maybe take your existing front seat and compare mounting pattern and method.
YES AND EVERYTHING FITS PERFECTLY---EXCELLENT PRODUCT. MULTIPLE CHOICES FOR DIFFERENT STYLES SEATS AND BRACKETS BUT THE T NUTS ARE THERE.
bout half way between the two choices
Only 1 seat bottom cover but 2 seat back covers
Yes, it fit our Club Car very nicely. So far, very satisfied with the quality & appearance of the seat. We would recommend.
Mine went on with very little trouble. Wondering if your seat is a replacement to the original seat. Be sure the thinner side of the seat is to the rear of the arm rests. Designed to keep the rider from sliding off the seat. Good luck.
