If your steering is suffering, you may need an E-Z-GO King Pin Spindle Bushing from Buggies Unlimited. Often, customers will buy products like steering boxes and ball joints when all they need is a simple golf cart part like this. However, it could be a multitude of different issues causing the problem. Getting under the front end and doing a thorough inspection is your best bet. There is no substitute for seeing the problem with your own eyes. Do your research, but confirm the issue before you order and avoid a return.
One of the many signs that you are having an issue with your golf cart bushings is noise. Anytime your turn, and if they are bad enough, hit a bump, they are going to pop and crackle. This is one of the initial signals that you are having an issue. You will hear the problem long before you feel it. Catching it at this juncture is crucial if you do not want to waste a bunch of money on parts you do not need.
We make things easy to replace by having a library of E-Z-GO OEM service manuals for sale. Having the expertise you need at the tip of your fingers can make you look like a pro. As a matter of fact, these manuals will walk you through simple tasks like replacing your golf cart's bushings and more complicated subjects like engine rebuilds. So whatever your foray into caddies might be, we have a book to cover it.
Getting these E-Z-GO king pin spindle bushing from Buggies Unlimited installed is not a challenging task. You will need to jack up the front end of the cart and disassemble a good part of it. This is not hard work, but it will take you and a buddy the better part of an afternoon. Call us today, and we will get you set up right.
Two per side. Make sure you order the right ones. If I remember correctly (on the cart I replaced them on) two like this were needed and two that have the collar on one end. Check you first before ordering.
Hello jodie that bushing is 1inch o.d
Hi Larry, yes it is .875 or 7/8 inch inside diameter. I installed these in a 1998 E-Z GO utility cart and it was a tight fit getting the kingpins back in. You may need to file or sand them a bit after installing them.
