What is one of the best and worst things about a golf cart? We will give you a hint; it's the same thing. Confused yet, or did you guess it right away? This switch had completely different keys than my current ez-go switch. I bought the switch as I thought I might need it to get my Dad's ez-go going, as I didn't have the keys. Fortunately, a key was in the cart when I went and got it. Concur with the other answers to this question. These keys will not fit my current switch nor will my current key fit this switch.
If you have a TXT style golf cart it will work, it will not work on the RXV style golf cart
Nicole, this should fit your 2002 TXT. I installed this in my 2007 TXT without any problem.

Yes on the gas models Which is an 4or 5 wire units . on the electric unit us a 2wire swich hope this helps .
My EZGO is a gas model, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t.
Most switches are universal. Whether it’s single or double, they should both fit and work. Of course with your extra wiring.
What do you mean by fix?
I bought it for my 36 volt unit and it replaced it perfectly.
