One of the biggest complaints from our more experienced customers is the shifter knob on old electric caddies and all the gas-powered ones. You have to reach down and crank that thing from one side to the other to get the cart to shift. The older you and the shifter get, the more challenging that's going to become. There are also micro switches on this unit that must get activated to even click the solenoid in. They are not engaged until the very bottom range of the shift. Thanks for the question! No, unfortunately. These are made to fit the stock application. You may be able to modify it to make it work, but right out of the box I do not have one that would be compatible.
It should work with no problem. I have on on my 98 gas EZGO, and also my 2001 electric. I actually removed the black knob and replaced it with an 8 ball pool ball. Easier to grab and looks cool.
Stronger then the original one that came on my cart .This new longer one in great I do like this product. You guys at buggies unlimited never let me down
It worked on my 2007. It’s a pretty standard fit. One screw to remove and replace.
I don’t know what a 4 cycle is but it works for our 1994 Marathon.
This was a simple, one phillips screw, change. The shifter handle fits just like the original. The advantage is it is slightly longer, angled away from the body of the cart, and easier to use when shifting. My wife had a hard time using the original shifter and this has made it much easier for both of us to use.

I have an 08 RXV gas cart and it works like a dream. Simple install remove and replace.
I like it so much better than the stock shifter.
