Product Details

What once was a complicated thing now becomes a simple task. This seems to be true of a lot of things in our lives these days. The Reliance HD Starter Generator - For Yamaha is no different. These motors used to be universal. Then you had to play a guessing game to figure out which cable went where because nothing came with a diagram, and more than likely, you were going to have to cut and hardwire to get it done. Not anymore, Yamaha made it plug and play, and this aftermarket replacement is a match to the OEM product. Buggies Unlimited kept right with that line of thinking.

This unit fits the G16 models up to the Drive. The pulley is included with this motor, which if you have ever tried to swap one, you'll know why this is such a nice thing to have pre-mounted. The bolt pattern will line right up; no drilling is needed. The best part about this unit is the quick connection for the smaller wires. Buggies Unlimited kept the factory design so everything would be plug and play. Get a Reliance HD Starter Generator shipped to you today.

Perfect!
Works like a charm! I first ordered one ebay that was half the price then paid someone to install it and it was junk! Doesn't pay in the long run to go cheap. This one is perfect and wasn't overly prices either!

have a G23A yamaha gas cart 2008..needed a starter generator..found out it has a Hitachi brand..yamaha one will not hook up the plugs on cart...Help?

if it has same color wires just cut plugs off add your own connectors and you are set that's what I did ( I made 2 jumper wires before I cut plugs off to make sure it charged 1st )

What is the voltage output on this generator?

With the cart in neutral and the motor going about half throttle Isee from 15to 15.4 volts using a meter. When my regulator went bad I was getting 18 volts and it fried my battery.

Where does the red and green wire hook to?

There’s a few wires that come from the starter- charger - most or all of them go to the battery and I believe the other go off of the foot pedal. It’s a charging- starter system - Like when you push the foot pedal it starts the motor. Most of it is plug and play . Not all connections will plug right up but most do . -

How do I get the hardware to mount this starter/generator? I need the two top 17MM bolts and the 12 MM adjustment bolt that's located below the starter.

I would imagine they're pretty standard metric bolts you could get at your local hardware store or bomgaars.

Are these reman starters or new?

They are new as far as I know. I have purchased two over the years and seem to be new and not rebuilt.
