The one good thing about older golf carts, the drive systems were all very similar. If you knew how to work on one of them, you could service them all. We are not just talking about the gas systems either. Sure, if you learn the ins and outs of a two-cycle engine, you could more than likely work on anything that's not too different from what you started with. But the electrical systems, the newer ones at least, feel like you need a four-year degree to interpret. The older units, however, all used the same technology.
