The EZGO Rear Axle Shaft for select electric and gas models is an exciting system. The axle is made of hardened steel. That is fantastic quality, and it sounds robust; we like it a lot. The splined hub that it mounts in, however, is made of aluminum. We are not sure if you are aware, aluminum is softer than steel, and the axle is prone to stripping the hub out. This is by design so the axle itself does not get damaged.This golf cart rear axle shaft for 1994 and newer electric fits on the passenger side.
