The Club Car Drive Clutch Mounting Bolt has an essential job on your caddie. The pulley mounted to your engine is held on by this bolt and a four-letter word known as hope. Thankfully as you tighten the clutch down, it presses onto a tapered crankshaft. This alone will hold the clutch in place, but the bolt acts as a safety. You cannot rely solely on a press fit to keep things in place in a rough application. If you jump your golf cart off a curb, either by accident or on purpose, that jolt alone could be enough to knock things loose. The last thing you want to deal with is a clutch on the ground when trying to showboat a little.This golf cart bolt is not hard at all to install. It threads right into the outside of the Club Car clutch. You may need to jack your cart up to get the frame out of the way so you can get this accomplished.
