Will this fit in the holes where the lights are now?
Larry D on Apr 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Glad you asked! If the lights that are on the golf cart are from the factory and are halogen, then the existing holes will be to large for the replacement lights. If you have aftermarket lights these should fit without issue! The black plastic bezels or housings of our lights measure 11"x 5"
Do the tail lights Work as break lights also? I am replacing lights I already have.
Ron H on May 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they do if you have a brake light switch installed. My harness had plug wired in for the switch, but the switch and also the turn signal switches come with a premium package.
The harness has hookups for blinkers and brake lights. I don't have either and would like to know how to get the orange side lights blinkers up front to come one when the headlights are switched on. Does anyone know which wires I should splice?
JAMES P on Apr 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great question! There are three wires that run to each headlight and join together in a three pin plug. The wire colors will be Red, Black and an odd man out. Meaning it will be different on the drivers and passenger side. The red wire is positive, the black wire is negative and the odd man out is the positive blinker wire. So to make the blinker come on like a running light, you would want to connect a jumper from the red wire to the odd man out. This will make the turn signal amber light burn constantly with the headlight.
How many amps do they draw?

BEST ANSWER: Less than 1/4. Or less
will these work on 1983 DS?
S A on Jan 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi SA, yes, as long as your cart does not already have headlights installed.
Will this kit fit a 2003 Club Car Villager 8? Thank you!
Brett on Aug 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It will fit but depending on the light kit that is already on the cart you may have to cut off the connectors and splice new ones inEnter an answer to this question.
I have a 1992 Club Car. Would this set up work on it?
Jason C on Aug 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It should as DS models are the same body-wise. Biggest question is if it’s a 36 or 48 volt as you need a voltage reducer for 48 volt carts. Hope this helps!
I’m not complaining but need some info, instructions skip over wire harness and while the head lights and tail lights seem obvious as do the main power and switch how about all the other connections?
Evan H on May 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: evan what questions do you have? for the common ones the nine pin connector is for head light up grades the purple and black are for the horn and the red orange and black are for brake lights all of these are for the the turn signal upgrade kit if you dont have this you will just not use them
Does this kit work on gas carts too without any special hookups?
James G on Nov 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi James, yes this works on gas carts. Just hook it up to your 12-volt battery!
Can I just replace the lights I have with LED, without the wiring? I already have the regular lights hooked up.
Rick B on Apr 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question! They might plug in and they might work, it also might be wired differently and direct short the kit melting the harness and lights... I have seen both. I would highly recommend using the harness thats provided with the kit.

Lights are very bright, and do not dim when accelerating.
Already had lights so didn't need the wire harness.

Very bright and not too hard to install
I bought this LED kit to replace an old set of headlights and tail lights on a 1996 Club Car DS Villager so the wiring was already in place. This kit came with a new wiring harness that I did not use because it was not compatible with my existing turn signal switch. I did have to modify a few of the old connectors but that is what crimp on connectors are for. I also had to widen the headlight openings so that they went around the front curve of the cart just a bit. A rotary tool did that very quickly. The front beams can be adjusted up and down, but not right or left. They are bright and point straight ahead but they are too wide ... oncoming traffic thinks I have high beams on. Adjusting the beams downwards reduces but does not eliminate the problem. To get five stars the LED grid needs to be manufactured to throw a narrower beam.

Nice lights, a couple of little issues
I installed these in an afternoon and I'm very happy with how they look. I just had two issues:

1) The templates are wrong. Like Mark H, one corner (the upper, outside corner) of the headlights was too far out, there was nothing for the screw to go into. I solved this by cutting a 1" square from the cutout material and putting it behind the light.

2) The amber marker lights next to the headlights don't come on using the supplied harness. The harness is meant for a system with turn signals and brake lights, and I don't need such things. But it leaves the amber lights disconnected. It seems like there should be a simple way to alter this so they would light up. I'm not as brave as Rebekah R to cut and splice wires to get them working.

Neither of these is a deal breaker for me, and I really do like the lights. But learn from my experience: cut the hole a little smaller than the template, especially at the top corners, and trim to fit.

Good Installation
Only problem is there was no explanation as to which color plugs (red or white) were to be connected to left or right side.
No wiring diagram available and was not connecting up the turn signals or brake lights so it really didn't matter.
