G1

Features:

  • - 36 volt Electric model
  • - 2 cycle Gas model
  • - Entire rear section lifts to access the motor and batteries

G2/G9

Features:

  • - 36 volt Electric model
  • - 4 cycle Gas model
  • - G2 vs G9 - the easiest way to tell the difference is the molding around the dash.
  • - The G2 has aluminum molding versus the G9 that has black rubber molding.

G14/G16/G19

The G14, G16, and G19 are very similar in body style and parts. Here are some features of each model:

G14:

  • - 36 volt Electric model
  • - 4 cycle Gas model

G16:

  • - 36 volt Electric model
  • - 4 cycle Gas model

G19:

  • - 48 volt Electric model (not offered as Gas model)
  • - Features a Tow/Run switch under the seat

G29/Drive (2007 - 2016)

Features:

  • - 48 volt Electric model (Regen system)
  • - 4 cycle Gas model

Locating Yamaha Serial Numbers:

G1: found under the rear bumper stamped into the square cross member of the frame.

G2/G9: found under the seat where the floorboard meets the engine.

G14/G16/G19/G20: found running vertically just under the glove box on the far left of the driver's side of the vehicle.

G29/Drive: found on the passenger side of the vehicle near the rear fender (Gas) or under the seat on the driver side (Electric).


TXT Redesign/ T48 (2014 - present)

Features:

  • - Completely redesigned body style
  • - Uses 1" front struts versus 3/4" found in the previous generation TXT line
  • - Electric models feature:
  • - 48 volt battery system

G29/Drive 2

Features:

  • - 48 volt Electric model (Regen system)
  • - 4 cycle Gas model
