The Club Car DS Carburetor for FE350 engines is a complicated little device. There are all types of things that can go wrong. You could get a clog in your air intake if the filter is dirty or missing. The choke valve could get gummed up over time. The narrow passage of the venturi is prone to clogging. The float assembly comprises an arm and a valve that are notorious for breaking and leaving the float just bobbing about in the bowl. This can cause issues with the jet that ultimately leads to problems with the throttle valve. Which is why trying to repair an existing carb is never a good thing. You are going to find one problem after another until you wind up replacing it anyway. For the low cost we have them for, it just makes sense to replace it.This aftermarket golf cart carb will work for the 96 and newer DS models with a 350 engine. We know it looks just like the carb off the 290 engine, but please do not try to use it in that application. The internal jet is larger, which will lead to flooding and other problems.
