Product Details

When you are working on a Club Car or EZGO, at least when it comes to suspension, you will notice it's very similar to your truck. Leaf spring suspension rules the day for these carts. Now, a Yamaha is more like a small car when it comes to weight-supporting capabilities. They use a coil-over shock to create the needed resistance to support the weight of the caddie and riders. This means they are under constant outward pressure. On a DS or TXT, you could collapse the shocks in your hands, and they would stay that way until you pulled them apart. You could not close a coil-over if you stood on it.

A lot of customers assume you need a press to install these golf cart shocks. That is not the case. You can do this in your driveway with a basic set of tools. All you need is a jack to take the pressure off the frame and a set of sockets to remove the old shock and install the new one. Call Buggies Unlimited today and get some coming.
