Note: Not necessary for Precedent models. All voltage reducers are designed for light-duty operation. For heavy-duty applications, such as powering multiple accessories, you will need a 48-to-12 volt Converter. Although simple to install,it is very inportent to place it in a location that would not allow water. I was not aware that this product was not water resistent.My cart got caught out in a heavy rain, and shorted the reducer.I now get to purchase another. other then my own lack of knowlege, it is a very good item. I would still give it a high rating, but it should come with a deffinet location placement on install direction.
