When you got your golf cart, it would stop on a dime. You remember being amazed that you could fly down the hill and slide to a stop at the bottom with little effort. As the years have gotten on, that has become a more complex and complicated thing to accomplish. At first, it was pushing a little harder on the brake pedal. Then, you started to have to zig zag the steering to slow down enough. You replaced the shoes thinking that was the problem, and it helped but didn't solve the issue. It sounds like you may need an EZGO Marathon Passenger Side Brake Cable. As they get old, they stretch out, causing the brakes to engage less and less.These cables are not a hard part to install. You may need a golf cart brake cable tool, and you will likely have to jack it up. Have a friend close by to help.
