Review:
Music makes any activity more fun - whether you're playing a round of golf,
running errands, or just working around the farm, having your favorite songs
with you makes the time fly by. Our exclusive Overhead Radio Kit lets you play
your own CDs or listen to the radio for music or news. Plus, the water-resistant
radio means you don't have to worry about damaging your expensive purchase if
you get caught in a storm. This kit is ideal for any buggy enthusiast who's also
a music fanatic.
Purchasing these components in a kit is not only convenient, it ALSO saves you more than $35 over buying each item separately! Includes:
Note: Standard on a 12-volt and 36-volt golf cart; for a 48-volt cart we recommend a Voltage Converter (ELE UNV 101) or Voltage Reducer (ELE UNV 434). Due to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), the radio will not pick up the AM frequency in most golf cart models. Please read our Installation Procedures for Electric Accessories before beginning any electrical work!

radio install
I put a Carbon Fiber Overhead Water-Resistant Radio Kit in my 2000.5 Club Car DS for golfing use. The installation went well. The radio function works fine, but the CD player skips with every little bump. If you aren't planning to use the CD player while the cart is sitting still I wouldn't spend the extra $$$ unless the Water-Resistant thing is important enough to you. Also, be sure you fasten down or cushion all the wires up inside the console or you will have quite a bit of rattling up inside there when you drive your golf cart.
